to me its like a woman bears her soul this is why she is naked but men we wear mask/clothes in this case and never fully give ourselves to them..the clothes represent the man holding on to something not wanting to be left vulnerable…he wants to be there but on his terms and not left vulnerable to her whims…he has some type of control issues
